Nancy Phillips Associates announces the sale of Dan O’Brien Kia in North Hampton, New Hampshire to Daniel Enxing, owner of Volvo of Exeter in Exeter, New Hampshire. 

The acquisition of Dan O’Brien Kia enhances Enxing’s presence in the seacoast market area by providing two great complimentary franchises both of which are housed in beautiful branded facilities. The new dealership will be operated by Enxing in conjunction with his sons.

Dan O'Brien Auto Group also owns dealerships in Massachusetts and New Hampshire. The sale of this dealership allows the group to focus on its other interests.

When he arrived in Boston from the Dominican Republic 20 years ago, Jose Oliver had the clothes on his back and $70 in his pocket. This month, he achieved his American dream when he bought his own business, the former Rutland Subaru in Vermont, made possible thanks to a team that recognized his potential.

Rutland Subaru, originally known as Kinney Motors, has been doing business in Rutland for over four decades. Its most recent owner relocated from New York to Vermont to work in the dealership and eventually was able to purchase the business.  The dealership will now be known as Oliver Subaru. Oliver was one of the highest performing General Managers at Subaru and other franchised dealerships in New Hampshire, Massachusetts and most recently Vermont.

From the moment I started my career in the car business, I wanted to have my own dealership.  But everybody told me it would not be possible for someone from my socioeconomic background, who moved here from another country with nothing.

Dan O'Brien Auto Group owns multiple dealerships in New Hampshire and Massachusetts. The sale of Subaru in Claremont allows the group to focus on other dealership interests. Sheree Kaplan-Allen is the owner of luxury and import dealerships in New Hampshire and Massachusetts and this acquisition furthers the growth of the Jake Kaplan brand in Northern New England.

Nancy Phillips Associates has successfully orchestrated numerous transactions for both Kaplan and O'Brien, serving as their preferred broker for buy-sell transactions in New England.

Mattie Volkswagen Audi located in Fall River, MA has been in business for over 40 years. The family operation has been ranked at the very top for customer satisfaction throughout it’s history. At the helm of the dealership were the brother sister team of Jay Mattie and Valerie Mattie Reis who proudly ran their business and supported their employees and community throughout their career. The sale of their dealership allows the partners to move on to new ventures. Jay can be found on his lobster boat off of the coast of southern Massachusetts and Val, an accomplished marathon runner, on the track in support of one of her many charities.
