Dan O'Brien Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Sold to Grieco Automotive Group

Nancy Phillips Associates is pleased to announce the sale of Dan O'Brien Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in Methuen, MA to Grieco Automotive Group.

This acquisition adds Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and Ram to the growing number of franchises operated in the states of Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Florida and California represented by Rhode Island based Grieco Automotive Group.

The dealership is now known as Grieco Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram.

Dan O’Brien Auto Group has divested of its dealership holdings over the last few years with all transactions orchestrated by Nancy Phillips Associates. Dan O’Brien will be taking time to focus on his family during an extended but temporary break from the industry.

Brigham-Gill Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in Natick, Massachusetts Sold to Village Automotive Group.

Nancy Phillips Associates is pleased to announce the sale of Brigham-Gill Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in Natick, Massachusetts to Village Automotive Group.

Richard Gill’s family has owned Brigham-Gill Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram since 1966, when his father opened the dealership. Richard started working at the business when he was in high school and has spent his entire adult career at the dealership.

Village Auto Group began in the early 1960s when Ray Ciccolo walked into a Rambler/Volvo dealership looking to buy a used car and ended up buying the whole dealership. Village Auto Group primarily represents nearly a dozen Import dealerships. This acquisition adds an important high volume Domestic to their franchise mix and signifies new directions for this stellar dealership group.

"I chose Nancy and Carrie based on their reputation and who they had worked for in the past. They had some really high-quality references from people I know in the business that I think very highly of, and who had worked with them more than once.

I wasn’t really planning on selling at this time, but when Carrie approached me, I started to feel like the timing might be right. We talked about what I would prefer in a buyer and for the future of the store, and how I wanted to see the staff treated. The buyer they brought me was another local, family-owned business, which was very attractive to me.

As a car dealer, I thought I knew how to make a deal without a broker, but I saw the value in their administration of the process. They were also able to bring me a buyer I might not have found otherwise because of their connections within the industry. They are well-versed in all the intricacies of dealing with the franchisor for a smooth transition. They are absolute pros and that made the process easier. Nancy Phillips Associates is pleased to announce the sale of Dan O'Brien Kia of Norwood, Massachusetts to McGovern Automotive Group. Dan O'Brien Auto Group owns multiple dealerships in Massachusetts and New Hampshire. The sale of this dealership allows the group to focus on other interests. Matt McGovern is the owner of McGovern Automotive Group, encompassing over 23 brands in the Northeast. This acquisition enhances the groups footprint in its expansive metro Massachusetts marketplace. The new name of the dealership will be McGovern Kia of Norwood.

Nancy Phillips Associates has successfully orchestrated other dealership transactions for both the buyer and seller throughout New England.

Orange Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in Orange, MA Sold to Sonia's Auto Group

Nancy Phillips Associates is pleased to announce the sale of Orange Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in Orange, Massachusetts to Sonia's Auto Group

Kelvin Paulino the owner of Sonia's Auto Group and his father Francisco Paulino have run a very successful used car business in Worcester, Massachusetts for over 25 years. The acquisition of Orange Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram, now known as Sonia's Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram will be the Paulino Family's first franchised auto dealership.

The seller's, Ryan Eschbach and Gary McGilvray have many years of experience in both the new and used car markets, with current businesses based in New Hampshire. A restructure in management created the opportunity to sell Orange Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram, after previous attempts to sell they eventually partnered with Nancy Phillips Associates resulting in a successful transaction.

“I have dealt with three other brokers aside from Nancy Phillips Associates throughout the years and if you add all three of the other guys up they don’t even come close to touching the level of service we got from Nancy Phillips Associates - there really is no comparison. We initially thought our size transaction might be too small to work on but Nancy treated us how we would imagine a larger client would be treated, with priority and respect. The communication of the entire team in particular was the absolute best type of communication in a professional setting. If we ever needed anything I knew that if I called Carrie and she didn’t answer, she would call back right away, or email that she was tied up and would get back to me.
