Nancy Phillips Associates announces the sale of McGee Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Brattleboro, Vermont to Florida auto dealer, Carlos Rios. Carlos currently owns Palmetto Alfa-Romeo in North Miami, Florida. This will be Carlos' first acquisition in the Northeast.

The new dealership name is Brattleboro Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram

Rob McGee, former owner, sold the dealership to consolidate his Vermont holdings in the central region of the state where he has recently added other dealerships. He continues to operate the McGee Family of Dealerships located throughout Vermont, New Hampshire and Massachusetts.

Nancy Phillips Associates is pleased to announce the sale of Coggins Ford in Bennington, VT to Jose Olivier of Olivier Auto Group. Coggins Honda and Coggins Toyota, also owned by the Seller, remain fully vested in the Bennington market.  The private sale of Coggins Ford, initiated by Nancy Phillips Associates without bringing the dealership to market, appealed to the Seller to allow a greater focus on it’s strong import segment.

The new dealership, Oliver Ford, is expected to flourish under it’s new owner who is a successful Vermont dealer.

Nancy Phillips Associates is pleased to announce the sale of Wells River Chevrolet to Abel Toll of AutoSaver Group, owner of 13 franchised dealerships located in New Hampshire, Vermont and New York. 

Jeff Moore bought Wells River Chevrolet in 2014 from a friend who was retiring and wanted to ensure he left his dealership in good hands. Jeff was one of the rare dealership owners approved to purchase a General Motors dealership who had no prior experience in the automotive industry. He was, however, a highly successful businessman who owned and operated both a freight management company and a bioenergy fuel distribution business in the state of Vermont. During his 10 years of ownership he radically increased the dealership revenues, profitability and community presence. Recognizing that timing is everything, Jeff made the decision to look into selling if he could find the right fit for his dealership.

He reached out to Nancy Phillips, who came to him early on with an offer to purchase from the operator of a highly successful dealership group within the same geography. As it turned out, the two men were already acquainted, and Jeff knew he’d found the right buyer to take over the business.

Nancy Phillips Associates is proud to announce the sale of Rutland Subaru located in Rutland, Vermont to Jose Oliver of Oliver Family Holdings Inc. 

Rutland Subaru, originally known as Kinney Motors, has been doing business in Rutland for over four decades. Its most recent owner relocated from New York to Vermont to work in the dealership and eventually was able to purchase the business.  The dealership will now be known as Oliver Subaru. Oliver was one of the highest performing General Managers at Subaru and other franchised dealerships in New Hampshire, Massachusetts and most recently Vermont. 

What Jose Oliver says about his experience with Nancy Phillips Associates: 

From the moment I started my career in the car business, I wanted to have my own dealership.  But everybody told me it would not be possible for someone from my socioeconomic background, who moved here from another country with nothing.
