Exeter Area Chamber Communities Scholarship

Ashlee Litzan of Exeter received the first award of $5,000, which included a cash award and a new Apple Macbook Air.  Ashlee is planning to attend SNHU this fall to pursue a career in pediatric psychology. Ashlee is currently enrolled in a nurses aid program at Genesis Health Care. After completion of her training, Ashlee will work at Genesis while she attends school.
The committee agreed that Ashlee represents a wonderful combination of determination and giving that would be a benefit to any community. Ashlee has demonstrated intellectual ability as well as discipline and determination. The EACF is very proud to be able to help Ashlee gain her degree. The EACF plans to make its scholarship award an annual award for the Exeter Area Chamber Communities’ Scholars. In addition to traditional 4-year colleges, the EACF is particularly interested in helping students (of any age) who plan to attend trade schools, community colleges and certificate programs. Students interested in applying for the award may do so this fall at www.chamberscholarship.com.
