Moore GMC Truck in Danvers, MA Sold to Village Auto Group

Nancy Phillips Associates is pleased to announce the sale of Moore GMC Truck in Danvers, MA, owned by Bob and Elaine Moore sold to Ray Ciccolo, Owner of Village Automotive Group and his COO, Tony Bartolotti.


Moore GMC is one of the country's remaining standalone GMC dealerships as mentioned in this Automotive News ArticleBob and Elaine Moore operated the dealership for over 50 years, investing their life in the auto industry, their employees and their community, supporting many charitable organizations such as the Food Pantry, The Kiwanis Club, their church and hospital. While Bob managed the day-to-day operations of the dealership, Elaine worked as a nurse and handled the dealership finances while raising their 10 children. Bob and Elaine are best known for taking care of their employees as though they were an extension of their own very large family.     


Village Automotive Group is a collection of European and Asian Import dealerships serving the Greater Boston area. This acquisition brings the group to 7 metropolitan dealerships. The Group is known throughout the region for its commitment to corporate social responsibility and it’s support for a wide array of local causes and charities. Ray Ciccolo is the owner of the group and Tony Bartolotti is the COO responsible for all of the dealerships.  Bob and Elaine Moore are proud to know their charitable activities will be continued and are honored to transfer their dealership to Village Automotive Group in order to insure their legacy in the Danvers area.  


 Nancy Phillips Associates facilitated this transaction along with associates Attorney Bob MacDonald of Bernstein Shur and Tim Lerchenfelt, Consultant. The new name of the dealership will be Village GMC Danvers.
